Between 12-20 October we have the opportunity to witness a phenomenon last seen in the skies approx. 80 000 years ago as comet
Tsuchinshan-ATLAS will be visible from earth. Tsuchinshan is a mandarin word which is translated as 'Purple Mountain' (from the observatory that first identified it in China). The addition of the word 'Atlas' is interesting, as aside from the obvious definition of a bound collection of maps, it also refers to:
1. one who bears a heavy burden
2. the first vertebra of the neck (which bears the weight of the head),
and in Greek mythology refers to Titan, a giant who, for his part in the Titans' revolt against the gods is forced by Zeus to support the heavens on his shoulders (The Titans are considered by the Greeks to be 'Gods', who are portrayed as being huge, in human form, and who controlled and manipulated the universe).
Mountains are also considered to be "the geophysical feature in nature which holds the ultimate infrastructure of reality in place. That is, peace" (www.oraclegirl.org)
So, we have a huge alignment here with strength, the capacity to hold and manage the infrastructure of reality as well as a timing of this comets appearance linked to the manifestation of new earth grids - and a restored 'reality' beyond the insanty and distortions. There are lots more synchronistic alignments and deeper meanings with the ancient energetic signatures of 13 October, which ask us to not only tap into the inherent wisdom and magic of the earth, but to strengthen the signals and progression of the New Earth Grids and emergence of a new reality.
The cycle of this cometary appearance has been estimated at 80 000 years based on its trajectory and orbit. Historically, this time frame saw the emergence of 'culture' on our planet with the first humans entering into relationship with the natural world in a deeper way. This was the time of First Nations peoples, the transition from nomadic survivalist to small tribes and humans working together for safety, shelter, food and with a deep respect for the earth. It is the origin of an awareness of Self that expanded beyond physical instincts to accomodate others, including the invisible realms. It also represents the origin of what we may consider 'magic'.
Also interestingly, the colour purple is associated with magic, mystery, balance of polarities, cognition, intuition and what we may consider an awareness of the 'Divine'. (I'm sure you are getting the gist of the levels of linkages here!).
The San People of Southern Africa have been found to have the oldest DNA, which is estimated at 80 000 years old, so there is another thread running through here. They have carried the burden through their biology, of an ancient wisdom so that we would not forget what it means to be truly human.....and what still resides at the core of our being. I use the word burden with awareness here as these people, along with many other First Nations cultures have survived a great deal of persecution and marginalisation along with destruction of their homelands.
