The fuse has been lit, and beneath the surface of what appears to be an ongoing stream or flow of life, is an intense bubbling up of fiery energy! There's no escaping the pockets of emotional and inspirational energy that are looking for an outlet as we transition through this very powerful full moon, and great awareness as well as caution is required. Fire is definitely the element of the moment & with the moon in Aries (fire) and the sun in Libra (an air sign), the fire + air combination is emotional fuel with a focus on issues of balance, justice, truth and freedom.
It is hardly surprising that we see a great deal of geologic activity mirroring at the planetary level, our own internal & changing landscape - earthquakes and volcanic eruptions being the most obvious.
Of course, there are always multiple additional influences that interact to create a bigger picture & one of these is the current impact of Pluto, which adds the energy of destruction (and thereby regeneration) to the mix. A friend of mine who is an astrologer referred to this full moon as a real 'doozy' - for those who may be unfamiliar with that word, the key definition according to the Cambridge dictionary is "something special or unusual, especially something unusually bad"!
Over the past few days, I have found myself repeating the Shakesperean phrase from Macbeth while connecting to get a feel for the energies - 'Hubble, bubble, toil and trouble, fire burn and cauldron bubble'. It feels so appropriate.....
While the essence of this energy can light the fires of excitement and inspiration, it can also give rise to impatience, anxiety, frustration, restlessness, high expectations of rapid outcomes & a highly strung emotional state. Tempers may flare as more truths are exposed and confronts those who have been more comfortable in their ignorance and beliefs in powerlessness. This powerful fire energy may also cause a 'doubling down' and imposition of the false power of control in attempts to maintain the status quo and continue the roll out of agendas that most prefer not to look at. At the same time, there are gifts in this energy, if we open to the truths within.
There is an incredible amount going on that requires us to feel all the feelings that are arising and to not seek to suppress or dampen the fires that burn within. We are being changed by the alchemical heat of inner 'divine' truth as it arises, asking us to feel our joy as much as our discontent. To feel for the light of truth that will guide our actions.
