The only data Diamond Light World keeps for our mailing lists are your name and email address, and we never, ever share your information with third parties. You may unsubscribe at any time from the mailing lists.

If you book a course or online event, we will keep records of payment amounts, email address and phone contact  (where applicable), but no other financial information.  The payment Service Provider (Paypal) which is used to bill customers for goods and services, does not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.

Any information provided by you ie contact details and payment information - is lawfully and carefully used for billing and administrative purposes only, and in accordance with current Data Protection legislation.  Your information is kept fully confidential and is never passed on to any third party.

The only personal information we hold is that which our customers provide to us when they place an order on our website or sign up for the newsletter or a Live event.

Your information is not shared with any other parties, however it is stored on relevant systems such as cloud systems, Getresponse (newsletter provider), and Weebly. If we are ever legally required to share any information, we will check with each party concerned to ensure they are both aware and happy for that to happen.

We store sensitive data for as long as projects are in progress and customers remain active clients. Email addresses provided via Getresponse are stored until consent is withdrawn and you unsubscribe from the service. Information required for tax and legal requirements are held for 7 years as a requirement by law.

We keep a record of any orders you make from us, so we can help to deal with any enquiries or problems you may have in the future, and so we can ensure that any information that we send to you is appropriate. Personal data that we process for any purpose or purposes shall not be kept for longer than is necessary for that purpose or those purposes.
We keep a record of any e-mail communication you send to us, so we can track any problems or concerns you may have had.
We may also ask you questions at course registration, and from time to time by email (if we have your consent to contact you by email), this will give us data that can be used to improve your experience of shopping with Diamond Light World. You are under no obligation at all to answer these questions, they’re all optional, but they will help us communicate more effectively with you.
In addition to personal information, our website uses Google Analytics to ensure we are meeting your customer needs. Google Analytics stores usage data which may include your IP address, geographical location, referral source, length of visit and page views – although a lot of this is aggregated data. The legal basis for this is legitimate interest for the basis of ensuring we are meeting customer needs.
We may process information you submit to us when you contact us for the purposes of ensuring we answer your query effectively.
